Hello!
I'm Marisa, an artist and designer based in Portland, Oregon. With a degree in industrial design (and a dream chapter spent as a toy designer), I've always been drawn to the playful, the bold, and the beautifully crafted.
Today, I run my own design studio and online shop, where I create vibrant, elevated paper goods, illustrations, and surface patterns for people, products, and brands who believe in the necessity of joy. My work is about celebrating the small things - a thoughtful card, a cheerful detail, a pattern that sparks delight - because those tiny joys add up to something big.
Every pinwheel, every polkadot, every colorful detail I design is an invitation to pause, smile, and celebrate life's everyday moments.

Mon style
En tant qu'artiste et designer, j'ai développé un style de formes simples avec une touche ludique et j'apprécie la sensibilité d'un design épuré et moderne. J'aime les couleurs vives et les motifs vibrants, et la typographie et le lettrage manuscrit se retrouvent souvent dans mon travail. Je suis inspiré par les graphismes pop-art juteux des années 70 et 80 et je suis dynamisé à la fois par la nature et la ville qui m'entoure. J'essaie d'insuffler de la joie et du plaisir dans mon travail chaque fois que je le peux et j'espère que lorsque quelqu'un voit mon travail, il ne pourra s'empêcher de sourire, peut-être de rire un peu, et peut-être même de ressentir un lien avec celui-ci d'une manière ou d'une autre.

All products in my shop are designed and shipped from my Portland studio, with care and attention to every detail. I prioritize working with local and U.S.-based manufacturers whenever possible, supporting the community and quality craftsmanship.
Respect for the earth is important to me, and I’m committed to reducing plastic and choosing recycled, eco-friendly materials and processes wherever I can. From paper goods to packaging, sustainability guides many of the choices in my studio.
